Noah Sheffler born 7 Feb 1844

Noah Sheffler was a Shoemaker, and moved to Allegheny City, Allegheny County sometime between 1870 and 1880, where he shows up with a wife, daughter and 2 sons. Later those three grown children all show up in Lawrence County together. I can not find Noah or his wife anywhere after the 1880 census, however. He had applied for a pension himself in 1869 but no application was made upon his death.

He had served in the Civil War in Company I of the 11th PA Infantry, and was briefly a POW in 1864.
